| Little known tid bit abouth this song?!? It was written for a James Bond movie that never got off the ground. The title of the film was called Danger Never Sleeps. When James Bond was captured the bad guy says to James "Danger Never Sleeps, Yes Mister Bond?" If you listen to the lyrics you will know what i mean. |

| Anyone think Killer from Creatures of the Night sounds more than a co-incidence like Deep Purple's Highway Star especially when Gene sings, "oooooooohhhh it's guaranteed...." Pretty similar to what Ian Gillan sings in Highway Star when he sings, "ohhhhhhhhh it's a killer machine..." same chord progression and everything. I think Gene was looking for an instant hit and he found one, only it was written by Deep Purple first. |
